Quest Atlantis
Quest Atlantis, or QA, is an on-going research project from the
University of Indiana-Bloomington. QA consists of a virtual world in
which students perform educational tasks, either individually or in
conjunction with other questers. Once students demonstrate an
understanding of safe online practices, they are allowed to "chat" with
other questers from around the country and even around the world.
In January, some of our Questers used Skype to mentor students from Cameron Park Elementary who were new to the QA environment. Students answered questions about how the world works and how students are able to move, learn, and grow in QA.

Family Questing
On Saturday, April 30, 2011, we hosted a Family Questing Saturday Academy in conjunction with researchers from the University of Indiana-Bloomington. Several fourth and fifth grade families spent the day together exploring the digital world and discussing issues ranging from family dynamics to bullying to environmental awareness. A great time was had by all.
